Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Punapai.

Punapai is a drag-and-drop landing page builder for anyone who needs a page fast. Build pages for products, events, weddings, portfolios, and more in under 2 minutes. No coding required.

Not at all. Our editor is fully visual. Just pick a theme, drag in blocks like hero sections, testimonials, pricing tables, and more, then publish with one click.

Pick from 7 templates when you create a project: Blank (empty canvas), Product / Affiliate (pricing, features, CTAs), Event (countdown, schedule, tickets), Wedding (timeline and details), Portfolio / Business (work, services, testimonials), Coming Soon (countdown with email signup), and Giveaway (email entry with QR-verified single-use entries). Once you start editing you can mix and match blocks however you like.

Yes! Our free plan lets you create up to 2 landing pages with 7-day analytics. For more projects, email collection, contact forms, longer analytics retention, and deployment servers, check out our Pro and Business plans.

We offer Pro and Business plans, billed monthly or yearly. Pro gives you 10 projects, email collection, contact forms, ZIP export, 1 custom domain, and 90-day analytics. Business adds 25 projects, unlimited contact submissions, 3 custom domains, and 1-year analytics. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. When you upgrade, you are charged the prorated difference immediately. When you downgrade or cancel, your current plan stays active until the end of the billing period. You can manage your subscription from the Billing page in your dashboard.

Yes, you can cancel at any time from your Billing page. Your plan features remain active until the end of your current billing period, then your account reverts to the free plan. No further charges will be made.

When you create a project, you can set a primary URL. Every call-to-action button on your landing page automatically points to that link. No manual setup needed. You can also customize links per block.

Yes. Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans include custom domains with auto-provisioned SSL. Pro gets 1, Business 3, and Enterprise 5 (extendable on request). Point your domain at us via a CNAME, verify ownership with a TXT record, and your landing page goes live at https://yourdomain.com/.

Yes. On Pro and Business plans, you can download your landing page as a self-contained ZIP file and host it anywhere you like, on your own server, via SFTP, or any static hosting provider.

You can use your landing page as a sales page by linking buttons or pricing tiers to your own payment provider (Stripe Payment Links, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle, etc.). Punapai does not process payments on your behalf and never touches your money. You connect your own provider, the link goes on your page, the transaction happens between you and your buyer.

We offer hero sections, feature grids, testimonials, pricing tables, FAQs, countdown timers, video embeds, image blocks, call-to-action sections, email collection forms, contact forms, maps, and a verified giveaway entry block.

Yes. Pick the Giveaway template when you create a project, or drop a Giveaway block into any existing page. Visitors enter with their email, then complete the entry by scanning a one-time QR code generated just for them. Punapai collects and verifies the entries; you run the draw and announce the winner.

When a visitor submits their email, we mint a single-use signed QR via our partner QRAuth. The QR is bound to that email for 60 minutes and can only be claimed once — both via a cache-bound token on our side and a one-scan-per-device limit on QRAuth's side. Combined with database-level dedup, disposable-email blocking, plus-addressing and Gmail-alias normalisation, the same email cannot enter the same giveaway twice. The QR scan also produces a verifiable audit trail so you can show entrants the draw was fair.

You do. Punapai is a data collection and verification platform — we provide the entry mechanism, anti-abuse layers, and exportable entrant list (CSV). We do not pick winners, contact entrants, fulfil prizes, hold money in escrow, or guarantee any outcome of the draw. After the closing date you export the entries, run the draw yourself (random.org, livestream, manual, whatever your terms say), notify the winner using the email they entered with, and handle prize delivery. The giveaway is your promotion; we just make entries trustworthy.

You're the promoter of any giveaway you run on your landing page, and you're responsible for following the promotion law in every country your entrants are in. In the UK, the CAP Code (sections 8.14–8.32) governs free prize draws and skill competitions; the ICO covers any personal data you collect. In the EU you may also need to comply with unfair commercial practices law and country-specific rules (Germany has explicit rules on prize promotions, France requires terms to be filed with a huissier for some draws, etc.). At minimum your page should clearly state: the prize, who can enter, how to enter, closing date, how the winner is picked, when and how the winner is notified, and any terms/restrictions. The terms_url field on the giveaway block is for this.

You can reach us by email at the address listed on our website. We typically respond within 24 hours on business days.

You're responsible for following the laws that apply to your business and the country your visitors are in. Punapai handles its own compliance for the platform — cookie consent, our own analytics, the data we process on your behalf — but the page you publish is yours, and so are the disclosures it needs.

A quick checklist:
Identify your business on the page — UK companies must show their registered name, company number, and registered office (Companies Act 2006). Germany requires an Impressum, France requires "mentions légales", and most EU countries have similar rules. Sole traders typically only need their name + a service address. Use the Business Info block we provide for this.
If you collect emails or contact submissions (or use your own Google Analytics / Tag Manager), you become a data controller under UK/EU GDPR. You need a privacy notice telling visitors who you are, what you collect, why, and how to contact you. Link to it from your landing page.
Cookie consent and the basic banner are already in place on every published landing page — you don't have to build that yourself.

Useful guidance: ICO (UK), CNIL (France), BfDI (Germany), HDPA (Greece).
